The material is 4130 Chromoly tubing. When a customer’s mount is received, it is thoroughly cleaned, inspected for defects, and defective tubing is replaced. The work is then inspected and issued an 8130-3 by a FAA-certified NDT facility. Afterwards, the mount is repainted with high grade aviation primer and paint in the customer’s choice of gray, black, or white. It can cost between $1150.00 and $2995.00 to fully refurbish an engine mount. The turnaround time is between a week and two weeks. We offer exchanges. For stock information, please call.
